One of the best things about Marin County is our proximity to water - multiple bays (including the San Francisco Bay!), inlets, and of course the Pacific Ocean. We always want to share Marin’s natural abundance with our Marin Hotels guests, so in this Marin County Travel Guide we’ll cover how to get out on the water in Marin.

Pro Tip: Take advantage of the waterside location at Waters Edge Hotel, housed directly on the shores of the San Francisco Bay in Tiburon. Marin County Sunset Cruise

The Angel Island Tiburon Ferry offers Sunset Cruises every Saturday and Sunday all summer through mid-October. It’s a best thing to do in Marin must-do, especially if you’re staying at Waters Edge Hotel since the cruise boards on the dock behind the hotel!

Marin County Wildlife Cruise

The Angel Island Tiburon Ferry Company cruises out beyond the Golden Gate in search of marine wildlife first Sunday of the month from June to October. You can book your passage here.
