Climb the walls at The Gravity Vault where you will find 18,000 total square feet of climbing. Add on 4,000 square feet of bouldering over two levels, 200+ Top Rope and Lead Routes, speed walls and more. We don’t even now what most of these things are but it sounds like tons of fun!

The most relaxing way to spend a rainy day is having a spa treatment. Here are a couple of our favorites:

International Orange (above) where you can enjoy the sunny deck or the bright and warm relaxation lounge before and/or after your treatment.

Evo Spa is small, lush and low key with really lovely practitioners and and excellent shop with clothing, jewelry, and body products.

Conscious Transformation for a truly magical, mystical, highly personal experience with Andrea Satyam in her small studio in Mill Valley

Art Workshops in Marin County

Bibby Gignilliat offers super fun, inspiring, and hands-on mixed media workshops and private and group lessons in her big and creative Sausalito studio. Here’s a link to more art workshops and classes in Marin County at the ICB building in Sausalito.

Long Leisurely Lunch in Marin County

Follow up that spa treatment with a long leisurely lunch! Here’s a quick rundown of spots that are perfect for lingering: Italian — Piazza D’Angelo (mmm that photo above!) or Poggio or Il Davide.. Japanese - Sushi Ran. French Cafe — Petit Left Bank. Pizza — Pizzalina. Mexican — Playa.

Those restos are located all over the county and some are open weekdays, some not, so check the sites before you go. Better yet, make reservations so you have your long leisurely to look forward to.
