On Two Wheels: Marin County is Made For Biking
MOUNTAIN BIKING WAS INVENTED IN MARIN COUNTY, so it only makes sense that we offer guests at our Marin Hotels complimentary use of Trek Mountain Bikes to explore the trails and roads of the area.
If you’re staying at Mill Valley Inn located in downtown Mill Valley, you’re perfectly positioned for the full Marin biking experience. There are 46 trails in and near Mill Valley alone - shaded Redwood groves, expansive views, killer climbs and descents. Fuel up with our complimentary breakfast before you depart Mill Valley Inn and plan to return in time for our wine reception.
Here are some resources to help you plan your ride:
Studio Velo has compiled a list of Marin’s Classic Loops; all of the rides start and end in Mill Valley. On the site, you’ll find maps, photos, directions for all of the loops, plus a limited edition T-Shirt of the Stinson Beach Loop. Sign up for their group ride email for the opportunity to join up with like-minded riders for a spin around Marin.
