Best Outdoor Activities in Marin County California
We’re all looking forward to getting outside, right? When we’re free to do so, Marin County is the ideal destination: stunning views, miles of hiking trails and coastline, and the peaceful feeling that only nature can bring. The vast majority of Marin County is comprised of protected open space and farmland — about 80% of the county — and that is the defining feature of Marin County: the unspoiled beauty in all of that open space.
Where to best enjoy all of this bounteous nature in Marin? Below is a rundown of most our parks, always a good place to start in Marin. This is just a start though! Have a look at the Outdoors in Marin section of our blog for more ideas.
