On the Shores of the Bay at Acqua Hotel in Marin County
Something our guests really love about Acqua Hotel is the body of water that lies at the edge of our property. It’s called the Pickleweed Inlet and it is an extra special treat to watch the light and life on the water from our hotel.
About Pickleweed Inlet
The Pickleweed Inlet is a small bay nestled along the San Francisco Bay and is a hidden gem and a haven for nature enthusiasts. The brackish waters of the inlet provide a habitat for a diverse array of wildlife. We especially love low tide, when it’s feeding time for the birds, including pelicans.
Whether your’re a birdwatcher or a photographer or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, during your stay at Acqua Hotel we invite you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Bay Area’s unique ecosystem.
We have provided lots of places for you to enjoy bay viewing at Acqua Hotel! Ground floor and second floor patios, our rooftop glass atrium, bayside benches, the lobby, and of course your guestroom.
Plan to have your complimentary breakfast in full view of the bay because the morning light is perfection. And for sure set yourself up with a good view during Wine Reception, the sunsets are wonderful and the golden hour is long!
See you out there!
